As your system runs, moisture from the air condenses along the evaporator coil and then drips into a drain pan below. If the pump breaks, the drain clogs, or the float switch malfunctions, the pan can fill with condensation and then overflow into your house.
Are your system’s air intakes not pulling air in? Is very little air flowing through your system? This may be due to a malfunctioning air handler. The air handler pushes air to be cooled and then into the ventilation system. If the air handler’s motor overheats or its blades are loose or bent, it can’t move air into the system.
